BioWell, I'm jest an old lady, meself. Name's Rayen Cúailnge. Mother of four, Caretaker of The Refuge. Lessee.....I like to cook, and most folks like to eat what I cook, so I 'spect I must be good at it. I'm a druid. Ain't always been a druid, but figured I might as well try it, with all my young'uns grown and nothing to do with myself. Made the Refuge with my friend Onatar so I'd have some folks to take care of again. T'ain't much, but it keeps me busy. Do a bit of leatherworking and tanning here and there, as I can get bits pretty enough to stick together. Do my duty fer the horde, too, when I'm asked to, though an old woman ain't much use in some spots. Still, I ain't so old I cain't fight. After all, ain't it usually the old, ugly, scarred up cat that's the scariest in a scrap?
This old, brown, and tattered book appears to be handwritten, and contains stories of children growing up, records of the running of first a household, and then a clan, and recipes, tons and tons of recipes. Some are written on folded pieces of paper stuffed between pages, some are written on pages themselves. The order doesn't make much sense, and it appears the writer just opens to the first empty spot she sees and begins writing.

While Rayen is generally a pretty forthcoming sort of person, unless she's told you something herself in game, you can assume your character won't know it, unless you're a member of the Refuge. Since this is Rayen's cookbook as well as her journal, it's usually laying about in the kitchen, and she doesn't mind anyone who wants to pick it up and look about.))
